Last day at childcare... For the year!!!!

It was my last day at child care today, and we celebrated my birthday with a little cake!!!!

My FIRST Bday Partieee!

Wow! Time flies! I'm turning one soon! Mummy and daddy threw a SMALL birthday party for me... Here's the decor, taken the night before :)

The party was "Malaysian" theme, so we ordered heaps of food from Mamak! We had the works!!! Nasi lemak, curry chicken, satays, mee goreng, sambal udang, etc etc etc!!! All too spicy for lil ol me, but I think the guests enjoyed it!!! :)

My very own home!

YES! We've finally settled into our new place!!!!

The move was STRESSFUL!!!! The day we chose to move was the ONLY day in that week that it rained the WHOLE ENTIRE DAY! To make things worse, the removalists showed up FOUR HOURS LATE! By the time we moved everything into the new place it was 8 pm already!

Mummy and daddy spent the whole weekend unpacking 40 boxes of stuff!!!!

The next weekend, we headed to IKEA to buy small household stuf! Here's daddy, trying to tickle me with a hand puppet! I'm more interested in posing for pictures!

Master bedroom's ensuite toilet, with his and hers sinks for mummy and daddy! Got bathtub also, but didn't take a photo of it! This is the 2nd room, the guest room for grandparents when they come visit! In the interim, it's my little playroom... I'm playing in my walker!
See how tall I am now!? Still can't walk yet though....

Oh, mummy and daddy will be throwing a small birthday party for me next Sun - MY FIRST BIRTHDAY! It will be a satay party, ala Malaysian style! Can't wait :)

Settlement Day!

So nervous! Getting the keys to our new home tomorrow... !!!

HOPEFULLY EVERYTHING GOES SMOOTHLY!

Mummy and daddy's been busy with packing... Removalists are coming on Friday, and cleaners will be here on Saturday then moving out inspection is on Monday!!

Happy Birthday Grandma!!!

Its Grandma's birthday today - wish i was there to celebrate with her (and eat the birthday cake!). Good thing I will be home (to KL) in a month's time - just in time for my 1st Birthday! (Hmmm...i wonder what presents mommy and daddy will get me??)

Oh, and speaking of presents....mommy bought me a pair of new "kicks" last weekend! Its all sparkly and pink! The shoe model is aptly named "Bling!"

We later went to Mommy's favourite cookie stall and stuffed our faces with some freshly baked cookies!
