Eastgardens Kindy

It's back to childcare for me today...
I felt REALLY nervous, and couldn't help crying when I got there!
All the unfamiliar sights and sounds, and the staff weren't particularly helpful when we got there.
Mummy had to try to rock me to sleep whilst daddy tried to locate someone to help us. Eventually they had to leave me there with one of the carers coz they were late for work already.

I cried a few times throughout the day, trying to adjust to the childcare as well as wondering where grandma was... Boy was I glad to see mummy and daddy at the end of the day!
Came home, drank 10 ounces of milk (I missed a feed at the childcare!), had a bath and it was off to bed for me! =)

Am fast asleep now... hehe... mummy is typing on my behalf. Hopefully it will be a better day tomorrow. At least I didn't catch any germs or get diaper rash. And one of the other mummies was singing praises of the childcare to us! So fingers crossed, I will be well taken care of here :)))

My first roadtrip!

Took a nice drive to Canberra last Saturday for the annual Floriade festival (tulips!)
Canberra is supposedly 3 hours away.... but we took 4 hours to get there?!?!!?
My fault I think, we had to stop at the rest stop so that I could have my FOOD!!! nyam nyam. Here we are, at some Outback Cafe... Hehehehe...

Yay, 4 hours later we managed to check in at the Medina Canberra! It's located about 5mins from the Parliament house. Very convenient! There's nice gardens at the front, but daddy overexposed the shot! I look rather "long" in this pic! Must be the angle! Oh, by the way, I'm almost 10 kgs dy! HAHAHA!
Here's a picture of the master bedroom. I slept here, with grandma. It was quite nice :)
Then, it was on to the Floriade! Here I am.. getting all distracted by the sights!

Oh, along the way, we saw a gnome painting competition. Quite artistic! Got all sorts of gnomes!

The next day, we took a visit to the Parliament house... This is the House of Representatives.

Happy Father's Day to MY DADDY!

It's Father's Day in AUST today... and I was planning to give Daddy a present, but unfortunately I fell sick on Fri evening so I didn't have any chance to go out and buy a present :(((

Not sure why I suddenly fell so sick. Had high fever for 2 days, and a bad cough. Been throwing up after each milk feed due to my cough. Mummy's been doing laundry non stop the last few days! I even went to the hospital , but the doctors say that it's just germs from child care and nothing we can do about it :(

Today the weather is slightly better and I'm also feeling better. No more fever but still having bad cough. The doctor prescribed amoxylin antibiotics so that I can get better... let's hope it works. Everything else that I've tried (and I've tried TONS!) hasn't had any effect so far. The list of medication I've had is astounding - Demazin, Panadol, Neurofen, Amoxylin, Otrovin, Nasonex, Ventolin.... SIGH SIGH.. it's like I've been sick the whole time!!!! The doctors promised that I would get better when winter was over, but it seems like I've been getting worse!!!! The number of trips taken to the clinic is just ridiculous!~

Long Time No Blog

Mummy's been busy lately, and haven't had time to update my blog.

Let's see - what's been happening... Well, grandma and grandpa flew off on SUN and I went back to childcare this week.... Took me awhile to adjust to the routine, but am OK now!

As for my motor skills, nothing much has changed either! I can now sit upright unassisted, but can't really crawl yet... I'm trying, but just not moving anywhere!

Oh, and daddy bought me a toy elephant. Eddie is his name. I can play music on his trunk. Here are some pics with me and Eddie:
