Hi and Happy New Year to all!!!!!
Been AGES since I blogged, partly due to the fact that mummy had to collate photos from both her iPhone and daddy's camera and just never got around to doing it!
Anyway I wanted to update about my trip back to KL during the school holidays.
Here we are, at the Airport, leaving HK! We flew Air Asia coz it was the cheapest... and it was Isla's first time on a plane! :)
Met up with Grandpa, at the Lake Club. He was well... it was his first time meeting Isla!!!!
After spending like 3 days in KL, we then took a road trip to Singapore.
En route to Singapore we stopped by Johor to visit Legoland!
Daddy got food poisoning on the way there, so he spent the whole road trip being sick!

Lego Xmas tree... weather was so perfect! It was a cloudy day, so not too hot and not raining :)))

Took a junior driving lesson around the track... glad to say I didn't crash my Lego car!

And then, the next day, we headed to Singapore!!!

On the day we arrived (which was about 4pm by the time we got to Orchard) we made an impromptu decision to go to the Zoo!
After a bit of asking around, we decided to take the MTR rather than walk back to the hotel and get our car... hmmm big mistake! It took us about an hour to get to the Zoo and by the time we arrived it was 5.30pm!!!! Upon arriving at the Zoo, we were told that the animals had been "kept away" as the zoo closes at 6pm!!!! Grrr.... so, we decided to hang around and wait for the Night Safari to open!

Luckily for us, we were one of the first ones through the door, so we managed to get on the first tram and off we went!

By the end of the tram ride, I was tired, so we headed back to Orchard for late dinner!

The next day, mummy took me swimming, and then we met up with Aunty Karen, Kayley and Kristian for dinner!
We ate in the hotel, at the poolside restaurant, nice food! We stayed at the Traders Hotel, which was so convenient as it was attached to the Tanglin Mall AND within walking distance to Orchard.

We then headed to Tanglin mall for some ice cream :P~
The next day, we met up with Aunty Karen again for a swimming date... and this time, we got to meet lil Karl!!!! He is SOOO adorable :)
And what's a trip without going to Universal Studios!!!!!
First thing we did was head towards the Transformers Ride... And it was the BEST ride EVER! (actually I thought I was gonna die... so scary!!!! o_o) but anyway Daddy and Mummy seemed to enjoy it.
We had the express pass so we didn't have to wait in line AT ALL!
Me, very relieved that I was still alive after the ride ;)

My favourite.. carousel ride! Of course, I had to go on Alex the lion!
It rained halfway when we were there, but we were well prepared with raincoats and umbrellas... so we were still able to enjoy the park.

And last but not least, en route to Johor we stopped by Melaka for lunch... went to this Famosa chicken ball restaurant, and we believe this is where Daddy got his food poisoning from!!!! ^_^
Poor daddy! Luckily me and mummy were fine and we were able to enjoy our whole road trip!
And now, it's almost the end of Jan, it's back to school for me...
Looking forward to the CNY break and Popo's visit!!!! xoxoxoxoxx.....
