Tummytime part 2

Happy Month-day To Me!

I'm 5 months old today! Time flies eh, I've been in this world for 5 months already!

And within that time, I've managed to catch all the possible germs I could catch!

Still having diarrhea, but I think I'm slowly getting better. Pooping about 6-7 times instead of the usual 10 times a day!

Also still having cough and cold, doc says it might be another 3 wks before I recover fully from it all!!!!

Let me tell you what I did today... I slept the day away!

Woke up at 10 am, went back to sleep at 11 am until 12 noon. Then fell asleep again at 1 pm to 2 pm. And back to bed again at 6.30 pm until now! Not sure why I'm so tired, probably a side effect of being a sicky baby.

Oh, mummy's sick too! She must have caught my flu bug. She's having a sore throat and body aches. Ouch. Luckily grandma is coming soon to take care of us! Hehehe... there'll be someone else to change my diapers for awhile!

Alright, here's a pic of me and mummy, taken by mummy in the living room.... It's not very clear coz mummy's hand was shaky! Oh, and I've gained back the 300gms (and more!) that I lost earlier this week! Am now 7.3 kgs! *sheepish*

Diarrhea Baby

Oh gosh, first the cold, then the cough and now I get diarrhea!!!!

Help!!!!

I'm not sure what's causing it, mummy took me to the doc again this morning and the doc ordered a stool sample analysis for my poop! And boy have I been pooping a lot the last few days. Mummy spent most of Mother's day evening changing my diapers... We've used about 30 diapers in the last 2 days! And I've lost some weight, 300 gms to be exact! That's not exactly good news, coz it means I may get dehydrated so I'm hoping to get better soon......!!!!

Anyways, the doc says it could be nothing, or it could be viral and the stool test will tell us that. Results will be out in a couple of days time, so there's not much we can do except wait it out and keep changing those diapers. On the plus side, doc says my chest sounds less congested, so hopefully I'm recovering... I do hope the doc is right!!!!

Don't worry I'm still happie and cheerful although a bit crankier at night from the cold weather. Mummy is on leave today to take care of me... We had fun today, went to Bondi Junction shopping centre and mummy drowned her worries with a nice large KFC fries, downed with a thickshake! *comfort eating*

Since it's my first time celebrating Mother's Day, I thought it appropriate to dedicate a little post to my baby Eva. Who would have thought I'd be changing diapers before turning 30? I sure didn't!!! But what a joy and fulfilment you've been to my life, my little daughter!

Today, I just wanna say how thankful mummy is that you came into my life, and I promise to take good care of you k!

Bronchiolitis

Mummy took me to the doctor this morning, because my cough was getting worse.
The doctor says its bronchiolitis, but he said I am actually getting better (I already saw the doctor on WED this week)... So mummy needs to continue to use saline nasal drops to clear my blocked nose, feed me with plenty of fluids and ensure that I have enough rest. And I'm supposed to go back to the doctor if I develop a fever. SIGH!
Doc also recommended to buy a humidifier so we're going to look for one this weekend!
OK, no new pics were taken this week coz mummy's been busy taking care of me... Will try to post up some pics tomorrow.... It's Mother's Day so we might try to bake some cupcakes / muffins haha.

Talkative

I am VERY talkative these days... can "talk" for hours to myself.. but usually just repeating the same sounds over and over again... I just LOVE the sound of my own voice! Check it out below:

Sleepyhead

Mummy sneakily took some pics of me sleeping this morning... I've been sleeping on mummy's bed since arriving in Sydney and its really helped me sleep thru the night! Not sure if mummy can say the same tho.. haha.. I can be quite the bed-hogger!

It's a nice day today, so will be going out later.. The child care centre is having an open day, then meeting mummy's friends for coffee... Can't wait! :)
