The Harbour School Sports Day

So, lots of change on the personal front!
New baby sis have arrived, we just moved to our new apartment and I'll be starting my new school this week!
Officially, I will start at the Harbour School on 2nd May, but I was invited to take part in the school's annual sports day today.
The school divides the students into 3 houses, there is the Lion House, the Dragon House and the Pheonix House.
As you can see, the sorting hat sorted me into the Lion house! Our house colour is Yellow - RoAR!

Some pics from the sports day... getting into our groups... my team comprised kids from kindergarten to Primary 3! I was the smallest one there :P
Hanging out with fellow lion teammates!
There are a total of 150 students in my new school! The red shirts are the Dragon house, the blue shirts are the Pheonix house.

Waiting for the first activity... Egg and Spoon race :)
There was also this activity where we had to keep a big ball on a parachute.. our team won this challenge!
Sitting in line for the next activity... bowling!

OK, my turn next... nervous!
 Oops.. I missed!!!
Some water balloons... for another activity.
 Next activity, tyre race...!
Did quite well, considering the tyre was quite heavy!

Only half an hour into the games.. and I'm already all hot and sweaty!
 Waiting for next activity...
Groundhog race! Have to crawl under each other's legs!!!
 Another activity... bean bag toss!
Here's my toss... the 4 yellow and 1 green bag!
Not bad, I got 5 points!
Next activity... water challenge.. have to pass water in cups...

 I'm good at this game!

 Lunch break! Siu mai yummmss!
 After lunch, tug of war!

 Long jump!
And hula hoop circle.. have to pass the hula hoop to the other person while holding hands...

Using my body to get the hula hoop across!
There were a couple more activities but I was wayyy tooo tired to continue so I sat out of it!

Ended the sports day with an ice cream, and went home with 8 mozzie bites! Fun, but really tiring day! Just realised I'm so unfit! Need to get out more! :)

6 weeks

Hi there~

Been awhile since I last updated, and boy have we been busy! It's been almost 6 weeks since baby Isla has been born, and daddy's been on paternity leave so he's been keeping me occupied during my school term break while mummy and popo take care of the baby!

First up, here's a long overdue picture of the new addition to the family, taken the day after mummy gave birth! This was at the hospital, mummy had a nice spacious private room :)

This is baby Isla at 7 days old... she looks like ME!

And here she is again, at 3 weeks old.. in black and white! Ooohhhh :P

Waiting to be changed.. la di da...

Are we done yet!?

OK, now back to me.. on the last day of school before the Easter break, we had a small party in my class, followed by an Easter egg hunt! Lotsa yummy and not-so-healthy food!

With my classmates :)

Looking for hidden treasure!!!

Look what I found!!!

And then, during the Easter holidays, daddy took me to Ocean Park!!!

With Whiskers the Sealion :)

The fountain at the entrance of the Park :)

Enjoying the kids meal... mmmm..... :P~

Enjoying the bird show - front row seats, baby!

Cockatoo! Parrot.

Not scared of the birds anymore! :D

Then, on to the Sealion show! Arf arf! And since popo was here, we went out for dim sum!!! Daddy took us to Maxim Palace at City hall.. waited 1 hour for a table and we gobbled finish our food in 10 minutes!!! Muahahha!~

And on another day, daddy took me to the Space Museum! It's right opposite the famous Peninsula Hotel in Tsim Tsa Tsui!

Hmmm.. not sure what this is!

Look, I built a rocket ship!

The Chinese astronaut's spacesuit! And another spacesuit! Replica of the Buzz Aldrin spacesuit!

Control centre for the spaceship...

Queuing up for hanggliding game!

And on Easter Sunday, I went for another easter egg hunt in Parkview!

I found my eggs!!!! Look!!!

The clues that led us to the treasure!

Can you guess what the answer was?!!?!?

"Long Time No Sea" Hahahhaah! Daddy thought "Hi, tide" was more appropriate, but ah well.

Last but not least, here are some videos of new chinese songs that I learnt in school!
Anyone care to translate???

Enjoy :)))
