Gold Coast !

The trip started off well enough, no delays on our Tiger Airways flight, small drama at the airport when they confiscated my Swiss card, but all in all everything was fine.

Arrived at Gold Coast, picked up our rented car and off to check in at the hotel. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Surfers Paradise, which had a beautiful view of the ocean.

Here's how the room looks like, nice and spacious with 2 double beds!!!

After a quick change of clothes (temperature was a good 10 degrees warmer than Sydney!) we headed to Sea World!

Spent the rest of the afternoon at the Sesame Street Beach getting my fill of rides with the Sesame Street characters. We also went back again the next day, just to get full value of our unlimited passes! *kiasu*



I even got to Meet and greet Elmo and cookie monster!!! *Happiness*

Also saw the sharks, polar bears, dolphins etc but didn't take many pictures, here's one of the fishes!Daddy wanted to sit on this ride, but I was 5 cm too short! LOL!

Off to Movie World next!! That's me - just woke up!
Watched a Shrek animation movie
Sat on some Looney Tunes rides - hi Bugs!

All in all, good trip - we had very nice weather and very nice experience there. Would have been quite perfect if not for the fact that our flight home got cancelled! That soured the whole thing, but never mind, it was out of our control...
