Yup!!! We found a home!!! The perfect home!!!
It's a 2-bedroom apt in Maroubra Junction, called Pacific Square!
Very nice, close to brand new and the best part is that we beat almost 50 ppl to secure the unit!
It required some outbidding, resulting in rather inflated rental rates, but what to do... that's the market practice at the moment!
So now all mummy needs to do is find a good job, and we won't have to eat maggi mee every night! :)

First Weekend in Sydney
Yup! Had my first weekend here in Sydney.
Did lotsa things, so tiring!
Went to view lotsa apartments, but the competition is tough. 50 ppl vying for the same unit. Fingers crossed, we'll get some good news next week on our applications.
I also met up with mummy's friends, Flin and Yvonne, for lunch. Then met up with uncle KB for dinner somewhere near the city. Phews, very tiring.. I was crybabying quite a bit in the car and in the stroller. Luckily I managed to sleep properly through the night after that!
I think I've been putting on some weight since getting here. Most of my clothes are getting too snug for me. Looks like mummy needs to buy me some new clothes soon!

My first post!!!
I'm in Australia!!!
Touched down in Syd on 25th March 2008. My first flight! I flew business class! It was a bit scary at first, during take off, as there were lots of strange noises around me. Luckily for me, I was feeling hungry, so daddy fed me with some milk whilst the plane was taking off, which helped keep the pressure in my little ears stable :)
Pretty much slept in daddy's arms throughout the flight, although the stewardesses on the plane tried to get me to sleep on my own chair/bed. I didn't want to, felt uncomfortable sleeping on my own. 8 hours later, the plane started to descend. Ouch, my ears started to hurt! Luckily mummy stuffed a pacifier in my mouth, which helped to sooth the pain. I think I was a good girl, coz I didn't cry at all, well, except for my milk :)
At the airport, clearing customs took another hour! Then it was off to the hotel! The taxi we were in sped like mad to get us there, coz he didn't have a capsule for me to sit in! How illegal! But then again, I'm used to riding like that in grandma's car back home :P
Since arriving in Syd I've been quite busy. I've been out most of the days, in my little stroller. Mostly going around shopping malls and going apartment hunting. Daddy's got a car to drive me around, so it's all good. Kinda like back home, except I've got rosier cheeks here and the other babies all look bigger sized than me.
I also went to visit my child care centre. It's OK, hopefully the staff will take care of me well. After all, mummy and daddy are paying $77/day for it!
It's going to be my first weekend in Syd tomorrow. Will be going out with some of mummy's friends. Hopefully the weather stays good! Will update more later. Time for my little snooze now!
