My new home!!! (by the way, i'm 7.2 kgs dy!)

Sorry haven't updated this blog for soooo long! It's been hectic, moving to our new home, and trying to settle in before daddy left for Chile! He's there til mid-June so its just me and mummy in the new place.

I'm happy coz, all my stuff are here! My playpen, my toys, my pillow, my car seat.... yippieee! :)

Also, we just managed to get internet connection in the house. Am on some mobile broadband thingy, so the connection speed is "so-so" only.

Wah, so many things I wanna update.. where to start!?!?! Hmm.. lets start with the house. Here are some pics of how the house looks like ya.

1. This is the living room area... Sorry its a bit of a mess, mummy took it in a hurry this morning!

3. The 2nd bedroom, which is now FULL of all my things! This is where mummy changes me, and also bathes me! (Too cold in the bathroom hehe)

4. And last but not least, the most irritating part of the house... the stairs! There's this huge flight of stairs the moment you enter the main entrance. And mummy has to squeeze my stroller in otherwise the door won't close, then carry me up the stairs! But what to do, couldn't find any other apartment in the short span of time, so we'll just have to make do with this minor inconvenience! :P

OK, enough about the house... on to more interesting stuff...ME! Here's a pic of me taken this morning, i'm wearing new clothes! Bought by uncle kit and aunty karen hehehe... Cute or not? No socks or mittens on... becoz mummy wanted me to explore with my hands and feet...

This is me again, looking slightly upset coz mummy forgot to turn the flash off! Also, my pillow is becoming rather "snug" for big ol me!

And also, here's a short video of me with my new toy - a kick "n" play piano! Taken yesterday. A bit of a lacklustre performance coz it was taken early in the morning, and I was still sleepy-head.

Today mummy's not working, so we're going to head over to K-Mart to buy a heater, an electric blanket and some groceries! Its getting really cold at night, about 10-15 degrees, something i'm not very used to yet! Its making my nose blocked and my skin dry... I'm beginning to sound like Darth Vader when I breathe and need to use moisturiser on my hands and feet :)

Oh yes, some MORE updates.. GOSH, this is such a long post. Mummy got a job offer from BATA. Quite a good one, they're offering her almost twice what she's getting now... But its on a contract basis, so no bonus and annual leave.. But heck, its closer to home and then mummy doesn't need to take bus to the city and rush home to pick me up from day care. So, mummy's gonna start her new job on 19 May... she hasn't told her current boss yet.. I think she will be doing that tomorrow!

OK, that's it from me.. will try to show you some pics of my daycare if mummy can snap some photos tomorrow... So far, its been quite enjoyable being in care, the workers are all very nice and seem to enjoy playing with me... They all seem very amused by my chubby cheeks and huge smiles! :)

Daddy's home!

YAY! So happy... got to see daddy just now! I did SO MANY things today.

But before that, need to digress. Saw a baby smaller sized than me, but she could hold her head up properly already. I FEEL FAT! How come I'm so much larger than that babyyy?????

OK, back to my day. Started off by going to Target at Eastgardens (a nearby mall) to buy me some baby clothes. Their sale started today - 20% off all baby clothes! I got 3 rompers, 2 long pants and a hat (with fur trimming)!

Then, went to fetch daddy and off to Maroubra to sign our lease! YUP! Got the keys to our new place!

OK, that was my day so far. Doesn't sound like much, but it's quite a lot for little me! :)

Update: Mummy found a job! Yup, one interview and she got an offer today. Bad news is that she needs to start on MON so I have to go to the child care centre already :( I hope I will like it there.... Will be going in for a short while tomorrow to test it out. Will miss mummy *sniffle*

"Tummytime"

Mummy read in some baby forum that its good to let me have some tummy time everyday, to help strengthen my neck muscles so that I can start holding my head up properly.

Doesn't help that I'm quite a fatty, and apparently heavier babies take a longer time to develop this skill!

All it involves is me being on my tummy, and it allows me a whole new experience of lifting up my head, kinda like doing push ups! It was FUN! But so tiring! Hehe, watch my video here!

A bright sunny happy weekend!

What a jam-packed weekend! Daddy's friends Josey and Chris were here for some work, so we played host and took them around!

First up, went to eat some German food in Lowenbrau at the Rocks on Fri night. Family pic below. It was COLD that night! See my rosy cheeks :P


Then on Sat we headed to the fish market and ate lotsa yummy food (well, I didn't eat, but it sure looked nice!)... Had oysters, lobsters, seafood platters, the works!!! Here is a happy picture of me in daddy's new car, on the way to the fish market!

Then headed to some warehouses out West to do some shopping, didn't buy anything for myself, but mummy bought a pair of shoes for her interviews and uncle Josey bought practically the whole store!!!!

The next day, we headed to Bondi Beach for some fun in the sun. Had breakkie by the beach, and uncle Josey continued his shopping spree for souveniers. Then met up with uncle Kit for some late tea in the city. Walked around the QVB and Pitt St Mall area, then went to Eastgardens for some MORE shopping coz daddy needed to buy some stuff for his trip next week. Yup, daddy's gonna be away the WHOLE WEEK! Sobs, I'm gonna miss him lots!

Oh, I'm also a lot smilier these days, and I get really excited when mummy and daddy talk to me!!! And pat my head!!! And tickle me in the ribs!!! Hehee.. its really fun and gets me really excited and giggly!

Daddy's new car

YAY! Daddy got a new car today!
A BRAND NEW X-TRAIL!!! With GPS!!! So nice!!! We went all over the city yesterday with daddy's friends. Had dinner at the Rocks then walked around Circular Quay to see the Opera House. Very cold night, luckily I had my blanket with me.
Then, went over to Double Bay for coffee, all the staff were really nice to me, playing with my cheeks and everything!
So happy happy... came home and KO-ed for the night! Slept til 8.30 am this morning hehe :)
Today we will be going shopping for winter clothes for me, so that I don't freeze to death next month!
Will upload some piccies of me once mummy learns how to!!!!
