Happy 31st Mummy!

Me thinks this is quite an apt time to post this!
It's mummy's bday this Sat (Spookie Halloween) and I've coincidentally learnt how to sing Happy Birthday!

Am a bit distracted in the video because I was more interested in grabbing mummy's camera to no avail, and also the song was sung to baby Cooper because it was his birthday recently and I must have learnt the song then!!!

But, it'll do! Happy Birthday MuMMMYYY!!!! *muah*

Fingers crossed, the weather will hold up coz Daddy's planning an outing to the zoo! Hip hip hurray!

Weekend Outings

Mummy's been busy, so the blog has been quiet for awhile.
Gonna post up photos of various weekend outings... in no particular order.

Our routine is quite routine, and really we only have 2 distinct scenarios...

Scenario 1: Rainy weekend
We will then head to a nearby mall, usually Eastgardens or Bondi Junction and go shopping + the infamous $2 car rides.

Usually, I will insist on playing with the umbrella for a good 10 minutes before getting into the car...

Sometimes we head to Playland in McDonalds... Got a lot of funky toys!

And a trip to the mall is not complete without a visit to the pet shop...

Scenario 2: Not a rainy weekend

We will then go for brekkie at a nearby cafe by the beach, followed by a walk along the beach or go to a nearby park. Sometimes we'll head to the markets if we're in the mood for some sausage sizzle!

Will post up some videos on a separate post!

Long Weekend Updates

Last weekend was a long weekend for mummy and daddy, due to the Labour Day public holiday.
To make matters worse the weather was rainy and cold.
Long weekend + Rainy weather = Cooped up restless baby in her terrible twos (aka ME)!
To keep me entertained and also to while away the time, we went to MacDs for some brekkie... See if you can spot the ridiculous hair-do mummy subjected me to!

Followed by Eastgardens for some $2 rides - this video is testament to me not being able to sit still for just ONE minute! In fact, quite the opposite!

And on to K-Mart for some toy shopping!
Daddy bought me some building blocks... And I built THIS!
Nice or not?
At the same time, daddy was building THIS!!!

Can you tell what it is??? Here's a hint!

Here are some pics of me in my new bajus, obviously I had to make it hard for mummy to take proper full body pics of me!

Cheeky face! Finally, a BIG SMILE for the camera!

And THAT's how we spent the long weekend! I think I exhausted poor mummy and daddy :)

SEPTEMBER UPDATES

Much to update!
As you may or may NOT know, I spoilt mummy's laptop! Her precious Sony Vaio. No one knows how I did it, but now the screen is cracked! That's why we haven't been updating this blog.
In the interim, we are blogging with daddy's old laptop.

Much has happened in the space of a month.
First, dust storm in Sydney.
Then, mummy got an ear infection (she is now half deaf!)
And last but not least, our garage got burgled! Daddy's precious bike stolen.
So, as you can tell, it hasn't been the best month... hopefully Oct will be better for us!

There was also a tsunami in the Sth Pac island of Samoa, which has been very saddening. And the earthquake in West Sumatra. We are lucky that Malaysia and Australia are quite blessed, that we are not as prone to a lot of these natural disasters.

It was Raya recently, and Sydney celebrated with their annual Malaysia Fest event held in Darling Harbour. It is a one-day event, organised by Malaysian students in Sydney and sponsored by Tourism Malaysia, MAS, etc.
We went to soak up some "home" atmosphere as well as stuff our faces with some "local" offerings.

Because I was trying to run around everywhere, there's not many photos of the day.
Here's a video of me standing at attention for the national anthem.

Long weekend this weekend, with daylight savings ending tomorrow, so there'll be a 3 hour time difference between Sydney and KL starting tomorrow!
